Our Story

On July 7th, 2007, our friend William call us up to go see Granprix at the Exhibition Place. We didn’t expect that he actually called up couple people to go at the same time. That’s how we met in the first place. Alex is William’s high school friend. I met William through a friend I know from motorcyling.

We started talking and realize that we are both in the same industry (Alex is a web developer at Cundari advertising, and I am is a web designer at Chum TV).

That day was a sunny day and everywhere is filled with the spirit of cars and cheers. I had my camera in my hand, and we took pictures together along with two other William’s friend. And after the picture taking, Alex asked my email to see if I can send him the pictures. So I gave him my email and I took off because I was going to watch movie with a friend of mine.

Next day, Alex msged me on MSN and asked for picture. I sent him the picture and we started chatting. It was quite surprising to know that he actually lives 10 min walk away from my place, and only works 5 min away from my place too! How convienent!!

And that’s how everything started, we started to go out for lunches, dinners, and movies. Next thing we know that we started dating, and in February he proposed to me. I guess how long we see each other doesn’t matter for us. As long we know we are the right one for each other.

Yeah, so I set the date on Aug 8th this year to get married. Why? because number 8 in chinese is similar sound to “fortune”. So number 8.8.8 is super lucky. hehe.. yes, I know I am so asian :)
